Q.) How do I know you have received my order?
A.) If you place your order online using our shopping cart, you will receive an email confirmation from us within 12 hours confirming the order details and the expected shipping time.

Q.) Will your product increase my gas mileage?
A.) Yes. Removing weight from any car will reduce the amount of horsepower required to get the vehicle moving at any given speed. If you are concerned about your gas mileage, reducing weight will help reduce your gas consumption, therefore reducing the frequency of your visits to the pump. Results vary per driving style and vehicle, but every pound counts.

Q.) My friends say I should build my own RSD kit, why should I buy one from Shrader Performance?
A.) We always support Do-It-Yourself-ers! That's how we got started. But keep in mind, we've had 8 years to perfect the process, have built over 1000 rear seat delete kits, and we've made adjustments along the way to improve the quality. It may take you several tries to get your seat delete to your satisfaction, not to mention the cost of buying any tools or supplies you don't currently have available. We're here to save you fabrication time and frustrations.

Q.) Is there an increase in road noise with the RSD Kits?
A.) Very little. Road noise increases minimally but usually isn't noticed unless you have loud aftermarket exhaust or if you remove your trunk mat. This can be offset by placing sound deadening material in the cubbyholes under the RSD if you feel it's unbearable. Most customers enjoy being able to hear the sound of their car anyway.

Q.) Can you build a rear seat delete for a car not listed on your website?
A.) We are continually adding new vehicle models to the RSD product line. We only do 2-door cars as those are the ones that have useless rear seats. We typically have a list of vehicles we are looking for, listed on the home page. We cannot build one-off custom units unless we have the car at our NC shop to build the template. If you are able to drop off your car in the Charlotte, NC area for a few days, and have a 2-door vehicle that you want a RSD built for, feel free to contact us, and we will see what we can do for you.

Q.) Can I request custom work be done to my kit before or after ordering?
A.) Typically, no. Although several customers have successfully modified their new kits to work with racing harnesses, convertible Speedster covers, roll bars, etc. Sometimes we can do small requests such as special packaging needs, custom colors, etc. Keep in mind, there may be an extra charge for special requests.

Q.) Can you send me the tracking number for the shipment?
A.) Yes. We automatically send a UPS tracking number to your email address supplied during the Paypal checkout process.

Q.) What is the turn-around time to receive my new rear seat delete kit?
A.) The estimated build time is listed on the order page beside each item. Due to high demand, there may be a couple days of build time required if we don't have it in stock. We're building them as fast as we can, and shipping them out in the order they were received. We regularly update the current shipping time on the order page to inform you if the item is IN STOCK or if there is an estimated build time.

Q.) Do you sell outside the continental 48 states?
A.) Yes. But the listed shipping rates on the website do not apply. Inquire by email for a price quote on shipping to outside countries, Hawaii, or Alaska.
